Jamaica Fiwi Roots

⚔️ How to Play Head to Head

Challenge a friend, a family WhatsApp group, or a whole class — no matter where they are. Everyone gets the exact same questions. Compare scores and find out who really knows Jamaica best.

1
Choose your game settings

Pick your category and how many questions you want. These settings will apply to every player — you are setting up the game for everyone.

2
Select Head to Head and enter your name

You and all players must enter a name in the box — you cannot start the game without it. Your name will show on the result you share with your opponent so they know whose score it is.

3
One player generates the invite link — only one

Tap the Generate invite link button. This link locks in the questions so all players get the same ones in the same order. Copy the link and send it to everyone playing — by WhatsApp, text message, or any way you like.

NOTE! Only one player should generate the initial link. Once you have the link, anyone who has played can forward it on to new players — they will get the same questions in the same order. If anyone generates a fresh link from the setup screen, that creates a completely different game.
4
Start your own game

Once you have sent the link, tap Start to begin. You do not need to wait for your opponent — play whenever you are ready. However, if you or any of your opponents choose to play another game when you are done, the player loses the ability to verify the game results.

5
Your opponent opens the link and enters their name

When they tap the link, the game is already set up for them — same questions, same order. They just enter their name and start. They can play straight away or come back to it later.

6
Share your result when you finish

At the end of the game you will see your score and a Game ID. Copy the share text and send it to your opponent so they can see your score and your Game ID.

Example Game ID: JM-2377-P9155-788
7
Verify you both played the same game

On your game results screen you will see a verify box. Paste your opponent's Game ID in there and tap Verify.

The Game ID confirms whether the score you sent was from the game you both played with the same set of questions. It does not verify the score — that part is on trust. A tampered Game ID will not pass verification.
